CELEBRATE AND SUPPORT MILITARY VETERANS WITH ICE CREAM PIES AND A NEW ICE CREAM FLAVOR

Washington, D.C. (November, 2017) – Ice Cream Jubilee is celebrating Veterans Day and Thanksgiving by partnering with Dog Tag Bakery and donating 10% of proceeds from the sales of ice cream pies and our collaboration flavor, “Share the Love” chocolate, to support disabled military veterans.

Dog Tag Bakery sponsors disabled veterans in a transformative work training program that combines small business education and handmade baked goods. Ice Cream Jubilee is proud to use Dog Tag Bakeries in our new chocolate ice cream flavor and ice cream pies

New Chocolate Ice Cream Flavor:

What could be better than chocolate ice cream, but chocolate ice cream with delicious chunks of brownies and blondies, all for a good cause! Ice Cream Jubilee created a new chocolate ice cream flavor called “Share the Love,” which incorporates Dog Tag bakery’s hand made “Share the Love” brownies and blondies in Ice Cream Jubilee’s classic chocolate ice cream. Each flavor is made in small batches in Washington, DC with local cream from South Mountain Creamery. Ice Cream Jubilee will sell pints of this flavor in our stores and will donate 10% of the proceeds to Dog Tag Bakery.

Ice Cream Pies:

Ice Cream Jubilee’s ice cream pies will be sold in two flavors in pie crusts made by Dog Tag Bakery:

• Share the Love Chocolate ice cream with a brownie crumble crust
• Apple Butter Oatmeal Cookie ice cream with a baked blondie crust.

We add fresh, spiced apple butter and mix it into our local, all-natural cream from South Mountain Creamery. Then we crumble in oatmeal cookies as the ice cream freezes for added crunch and spice. Cookies are the new sprinkles, and ice cream is the new pie!

Hot Chocolates:

Tis the season for hot chocolates! Ice Cream Jubilee is now serving three flavors of hot chocolate: Nutella Hot Chocolate, Earl Grey White Hot Chocolate, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Ice Cream Jubilee has two locations: a Logan Circle location at 1407 T Street NW and a Yards Park location at 301 Water Street SE. The Logan Circle location is open Monday through Friday from 12pm – 10pm, and the Yards Park location is open Monday through Friday 12pm – 9pm.

Ice Cream Jubilee serves ice cream sundaes, milkshakes, cookies, coffee drinks, and hot chocolates. Ice Cream Jubilee proudly represents Washington, D.C. on multiple “Best Ice Cream in America” lists, including Food & Wine magazine, Thrillist, Tastemade, and TimeOut magazine.
